About the Family Home

Main Duties of the Housekeeping Partner
One partner will focus mainly on housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, ironing and wardrobe care.
Main duties may include:
Professional cleaning of a large private home.
Daily upkeep of rooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas and living spaces.
Maintaining excellent cleanliness and order throughout the house.
High-standard laundry and ironing.
Careful handling of delicate fabrics, including silk, cashmere and fine garments.
Ironing men’s shirts, bed linen, table linen and everyday clothing.
Wardrobe organisation and care of clothes, shoes and accessories.
Use of premium household appliances, including steam generators and professional ironing systems such as Laura Star or similar.
Final evening kitchen clean-up.
Preparing the house for the evening and next morning.
Occasional light household help as needed.
The ideal candidate should be a confident cleaner with a strong eye for detail. Experience in luxury homes, VIP households, private residences or hotel-standard housekeeping would be a strong advantage.
Main Duties of the Household Support Partner
The second partner will focus mainly on practical household support, errands, driving and general assistance.
Main duties may include:
Supporting the smooth running of the household.
Running errands for the family.
Food shopping and purchasing household goods.
Safe and confident driving when requested.
Monitoring contractors, tradesmen and external service providers.
Helping with deliveries.
Lifting and moving heavier items when needed.
Keeping outside areas tidy.
Supporting basic household maintenance.
Helping with organisation, storage and general order.
Assisting with household security and closing the house in the evening.
This is not a full professional chauffeur role, but the family needs a confident and safe driver. The right candidate should be practical, calm, responsible and trustworthy.
Children in the Home
The family has two children, aged 6 months and 3.5 years.
A full-time professional nanny works in the home and takes care of the children. The domestic couple does not carry the main childcare responsibility.
The couple may sometimes provide light, occasional help if needed, but the core duties remain household management, cleaning, ironing, errands, shopping and support around the home.
Working Schedule
The expected schedule is approximately 5 days per week.
The working day follows a split-shift structure. This means there will be duties in the morning, a longer break during the day, and another working block in the evening.
Evening duties may include:
final kitchen clean-up,
preparing the house for the night,
closing the house,
checking that rooms remain tidy,
supporting the family after dinner or evening routines.
Exact working hours will be discussed with suitable candidates.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided as part of the position.
